Here at Calaveras, we are dedicated to bringing the delectable cuisine of Latin America to you at a reasonable price.
Calaveras opened in December 2016 and is located along Mission Boulevard, situated beautifully between Mission Bay and the Pacific Ocean. Since then, owner and head chef Tony Padilla has been serving both quality renditions of dishes from his native El Salvador as well as his interpretations on other Latin American staples. Blending the deep flavors of his home country with those of his neighbors, Tony designed a menu that combines simple, health conscious, made-from-scratch ingredients to create flavors beyond your wildest dreams.
We are committed to using only ingredients of the highest quality. Our chicken is free range, hormone and antibiotic free, as is our grass-fed beef. Our vegetables are organically grown from heirloom seeds. Every dish is made to order. The taste is like nothing you have experienced before.
