Kamlesh Israni had emigrated with her family in the year 1982 from India to the United States. Her special culinary skills made her a known face in the San Diego community. In 1988, Kamlesh got the opportunity to satiate the gastronomical desires of many people when she was asked to provide a catering service for a private event.

She opened her first restaurant with the name Kamlesh's Catering (Kc's) Tandoor in the year 1990 and is serving lip-smacking and peppery Tandoor dishes to the people of Encinitas since last 30 years.
